Alpha Partners conducts videotaped workshops focused on improving both
the content and delivery of new business and client presentations. These
sessions help investment firms tell a compelling story with conviction
in diverse situations, from an initial meeting with a consultant to
a 15-minute final presentation. Participants learn how to deliver the
short version of their firm's story, use examples effectively and handle
even the toughest Q&A session with assurance. Our written feedback
includes positioning strategy and recommendations on how to improve
the presentation book.
MARKET
RESEARCH
We conduct research surveys to determine the extent to which a client's
self-image jibes with external perceptions. Our research has helped
our clients answer questions such as "How can we improve client
and consultant relationships?" and "How can we improve our
closing ratio in final presentations?" We compare internal perceptions
(portfolio managers, research analysts, traders, client service, sales
and marketing professionals) with outside views (clients, consultants,
prospects and lost prospects) to build a true picture of a company's
competitive strengths.

competitive advantages in fresh, memorable language. We discourage
our clients against hanging
their identity on tired, derivative concepts on language that
has lost all meaning because potential investors have heard it over
and over again. Instead, we work closely with our clients to capture
true sources of competitive differentiation.
